Madeline Furlong (she/her) is a short story and comic book writer from upper Washington state. An MFA candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Furlong earned a BA in Women’s and Gender Studies from Wellesley College.
Furlong’s writing often explores themes of gender, sex, queer identity, and apoycalypse anxiety through magic, the surreal, and other speculative forms. Her work has been published in Hobart Pulp and Oyster River Pages.
